This is the internment of Don's cremains as the result of an aeronautical accident. There is a marker at the Blackstone Cemetery with his parents and relatives gravemarkers in Blackstone, Massachusetts. Don is a member of the USNA Class of 1953. Donald married Carol Jean Filsinger on March 17, 1956. He adopted Carol's daughter, Paula Christine Garfield. Don and Carol had 2 children, Lisa Ann Owczarzak-Voelker and Paul Andrew Voelker.
