Mrs
. Lillian Raveling, 78, of 820 First Ave., S.E., LeMars, died early Wednesday, June 4, at Floyd Valley hospital after a long illness.
Funeral services for Mrs. Raveling were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 6 at Calvary United Methodist Church, LeMars. Rev. Tom Balm officiated and burial was in the Remsen city cemetery.
Lillian C. Haack was born Jan. 26, 1897 on a farm near Remsen, the daughter of Claus and Ella Haack. Her marriage to William T. Raveling took place Jan. 6, 1916 at Remsen.
Surviving are her husband William; two daughters, Mrs. Russel (Esther) Null of Early, Ia. and Mrs. Herbert (Loretta) Beck of West Des Moines, Ia.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Adolph and Elmer Haack, both of LeMars.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Clarence, Edward and George Haack.
