Lifelong Area Resident Dies; Rites Monday
Mrs. Leona Elizabeth Bumgarner, 69, 1410 Garfield Ave., a lifelong resident of Cleveland County, died Friday afternoon of an apparent heart attack.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Mayes Chapel of Remembrance with Dr. Wayne Coffin and the Rev. Joe Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the 100F Cemetery.

Mrs. Bumgarner was born March 11, 1904, in Noble and was a member of McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church.

Survivors include three sons, John L., 1413 Lincoln Ave., Robert W., 1419 Peter Pan St., and Charles P., Topeka, Kan.; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Chase, Brawley, Calif., Mrs. Helen
Kammerlocker, 430 E. Comanche, St., and Mrs. Mary Ann Jahnke, Arvado, Colo.; a brother, Charles Stogner, and a sister, Mrs. Esther Aynes, both of Lubbock, TX., and 14 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.

The family has designated the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation the study of heart disease as appropriate for memorial contributions.

The Norman Bank of Commerce lobby will be closed at 1 p.m. Monday in honor of Mrs. Bumgarner.

Bearers will be David Jackson, Robert L. Bailey, Pat Thompson, Jerry Thompson, Dr. R. Mayfield, Leroy Wheeler, Warren Sherman and Don Morrison.
