Miss Helen Goad, 88, formerly of Hastings, died Thursday, Nov. 3 in her Croton Falls home after a short illness.
Born in Hastings Center, she was a school teacher in Mallory, Gayville, Peekskill and Croton Falls school systems. She retired 23 years ago. She moved from the area many years ago.
Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Anna Faulter and Mrs. Abigail Herrick, both of Central Square, Mrs. Mildred Brown of Altmar and Mrs. Levah Gridley of Pennellville; a cousin and several nieces and nephews.
Private services were held at the Traub Funeral Home, Central Square. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Central Square.
