WALKERTON - Eleanor B. Miser, 80, passed away Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009, at her home.

Mrs. Miser was born Dec. 6, 1928 in La Porte County, to Grover and Grace (Schuh) Coil.

On Aug. 13, 1949, she married Samuel Miser, who preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Norman, Grover, Lawrence and Henry; sisters, Elizabeth, Mabel, Evelyn, Bernice, Rosemond, Geraldine and Darlene and one great-granddaughter, Grace Miller.

Surviving are her children, Donald (Valerie) Miser of Chester, Va., Edward (Tonya) Miser of Greenville, Ga., Leona (Ronald) Kissinger, Gerald (Linda) Miser and Mary Miser, all of Walkerton and Raymond (Darla) Miser of Plymouth; one sister, Mary (Mardell) Metts of Hanna; sister-in-law, Marlene Coil of Westville; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was a former employee of Modine Manufacturing in La Porte and a member of St. Patricks Church of Walkerton.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 11 a.m. EST at St. Patricks Church of Walkerton. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Walkerton. Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Thursday 10 to 10:30 a.m. EST at Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel. Memorial contributions may be given to the church
