Son of Joseph Coffey and Bethada Strunk,husband of Arminda "Menda" Litton.

Louis Coffey was born January 29,1861,departed this life May 19,1936.He professes a hope in Christ in 1897 and joined the Bethlehem church,during his life time as a Christian,he was a devoted and faithful servant,in his home he was a father who tried to teach his children the ways of God.Just before he died when he had called his friends around his bed to sing his most beloved song(How Beautiful Heaven Must Be)he said he wasn't afraid to died for the old account was settled long ago.He left in this cold hearted world,a wife and six children,but we feel that if we live a true life some sweet morning we'll see his smiling face again.
