Funeral services for Fred L. West, who died Wednesday in Hoemako Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Cole & Maud Mortuary chapel. Mr. Elvin Upton, of the Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 7 to 9 tonight in the Cole & Maud chapel.
Mr. West was born Aug. 10, 1899 in Romance, Arkansas and lived in Arizona for 28 years. A retired farmer, barber and government employee, he lived in Casa Grande for seven years.
He is survived by his wife, Olive, of Casa Grande; three sons, Ralph, of Casa Grande, Lyndel, of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Larry, of Vacaville, California; one daughter, Naomi Conlin, of Las Banos, California; one brother, Earl, of Casa Grande; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
