Freda A. Johnson, 88, of Saxton, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 1997, in the Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring. She was born June 17, 1908, in Dudley, a daughter of the late William Albert and Emma Eliza (Spahn) Foor. She married Joseph Larson Johnson Oct. 8, 1928, in Cumberland, Md. He preceded her in death Oct. 18,1989. She is survived by two daughters: Mary Johnson and Emma Allison, both of Saxton; and one sister: Edith Reed of Saxton. She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. She was employed at Owens Corning Fiberglass in Huntingdon, Scampers in Saxton and Quality Manufacturing in Saxton, and she retired from Gerbo Shoes in Huntingdon.
