Mrs. Vina Abraham, 71, of 740 Eighteenth avenue, Moline, a life resident of that city, died at 2:15 o'clock yesterday afternoon in Moline public hospital where she had been confined since June 15. She was the widow of Oscar Abraham, former brick manufacturer and a city and county official for many years prior to his death Dec. 13, 1945.
During the First World War Mrs. Abraham was active in the war work at William Carr school and before becoming ill, was an active member of the Moline Woman's club and the auxiliary of the Elks. She was also a member of the Turners auxiliary.
Mrs. Abraham, the former Miss Vina Bergert, was born Sept. 5, 1874, in Moline. She was married to Mr. Abraham, June 19, 1895, in Moline.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Norman A. Kucheman of Moline, and three sisters, Miss Tina Bergert of Rock Island, Mrs. Evan Roderick of Rock Island and Mrs. Ben Weber of Moline. An Infant son and a sister and brother preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the Knox-Trimble funeral home. The Rev. Oliver K. Black, pastor of First Congregational Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
