He was a biographer of, and one of the world’s recognized authorities on, Edgar Allan Poe. He died at his home, 1722 North Calvert St. He was born on Dec. 22, 1838 in Baltimore. He was the son of Dr. Franklin J. and Juliana Lemoine Didier.
