Miss Angela de B. Didier, 83, an attendance officer for the Baltimore schools for some 33 years before her retirement in 1947, died early yesterday at a nursing home after a long illness.
Miss Didier, who received her education at the visitation Convent, began working for the schools in 1914 and was among their earlier truant officers.
She was the daughter of the late Eugene L. and Louise Northrup Didier and the granddaughter of the Confederate Commissary General, Lucius Bellinger Northurp.
Miss Didier is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Richard Contee Rose and Miss Claudia B. Didier, both of Baltimore, six nieces and two nephews.
