Services for Mrs. Mattie Lou Blackburn, 77, of 1014 W. 53 St., Anniston, will be Wednesday at 2 pm at the Saxton Heights Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Herbert Hicks and the Rev. Wayne Shepard officiating. Burial will be in Edgemont Cemetery with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary in charge.
Mrs. Blackburn died Monday at Regional Medical Center after a short illness.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. S. S. King of Anniston; a brother, Curley Chastain of Anniston; a sister, Mrs Gladys Bullard of Talladega; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
Mrs. Blackburn was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was a member of the Saxton Heights Assembly of God Chirch. She was a retired employee of the Linen Thread, Co.
The body will remain at the funeral home until one hour prior to services.
