Funeral services for Mrs. Clinton E. Beggs, 77, of route 2, Ben Wheeler, who died in a Jacksonville hospital, were held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Holly Springs Church. Burial was in the Holly Springs Cemetery.
She was a native of Mississippi and had resided in Van Zandt County for 60 years.
Surviving are two sons, Solon Beggs of Ben Wheeler and Clark Beggs of Longview; four daughters, Mrs. Fleetie Stidwell of Longview, Mrs. Allie Howell of Ben Wheeler, Mrs. Ruth Nixon of Middlebarrie, Conn., and Mrs. Janie Besson of Rosebud and one brother and one sister.
Clinton Elsie Beggs' death certificate states that she was born in Mississippi to Nick Allen and Sarah Blythe. She died in Jacksonville, Cherokee County, Texas.
