Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Braun, 68, widow of the late Charles Braun who served Monroe in the Clerk of Court's office for a number of years, were to be held at 4:30 pm today at Mulhearn Funeral Home of Monroe. Christian Science services will be held. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Braun died Wednesday at her home at 1102 Mississippi Street, after a long illness.

She is survived by her daughter:
Mary Anny Cowan (Mrs. Ralph Tilman Cowan, Jr.) of Sanford, Florida
Four grandchildren
