Miss Lizzie Adams, 69, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. R. A. Parker of near Sikes, April 2, after several years of poor health. Funeral services were conducted at Harmony Grove Baptist Church April 3 with the Rev. Carter in charge. At the time of her death she was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church.

Acting as pallbearers were nephews of the deceased, Troy Adams, Marshal Adams, Leroy Adams, Clio Adams, J. P. Adams, and Jessie Smith.

Survivors include four sisters and three brothers, Mrs. R. A. Parker, Dodson, Rt. 1, Mrs. J. G. Smith, Quitman, Mrs. T. D. Griffin, Truxno, Mrs. C. L. Griffin, Rayville; T W. Adams, Dodson, Rt. 1, Rev. B. C. Adams, Livingston, Texas, Ira Adams, Huntsville, Ala., and several nieces and nephews.
