MARIE ANN WAHL ( Marie Ann Triebwasser )
Marie Ann Wahl, 83, of Lodi, died suddenly Sunday night at her home.
She was a native of Lincoln Valley, N Dakota where she grew up and attended schools. She married David Mittleider in N Dakota and moved with him to Lodi in the mid 1920's.
Mr., Mittleider died in 1938 and in 1940 she married Edward Wahl of Lodi. She and her husband were employees of the Tri Valley Cannery and she was a member of the local Cannery Workers Union.
Mrs. Wahl is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Wahl, who died in 1962 and her son Donald Mittleider who died in 1979.
She is survived by a second son, David Mittleider of Lodi; her daughter, Vivien Griess of Sonora; none grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; her brother, Sam Triebwasser of N Dakota; and her sister, Martha Hein of Lodi.
Funeral services will be held at the Lodi Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday at 2pm with Father Harmon Skillin of St. Anne's Catholic Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Cherokee Memorial Park. Friends are invited to call today after 5pm.
