Fireman Gets His Last Call
David J. Mittleider, a member of the Lodi volunteer fire department, passed away last night following an extensive illness.
A native of Washburn, North Dakota, he was 45 years of age and had been a resident of Lodi for the past 18 years. His home was at 426 Railroad avenue. For the past several years he had been a member of the local fired fighting organization.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marie Mittleider, a daughter, Mrs. Vivian Ryan of Oakland, and two sons, Donald and David Jr., of Lodi.
In addition, he leaves two brothers, Jake Middleider of North Dakota and Louis Mittleider of Corning, California; and two sisters, Mrs. Henry Stradinger of South Dakota and Mrs. William Sutter of Sawyer, North Dakota. He was the son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel Treibwassar.

Mittleider Funeral Is Set for Tuesday
Funeral services for David J. Mittleider, Lodi fireman who passed away Friday, will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the chapel of the Lodi Funeral Home. Firemen of Lodi will form an honorary guard. Interment will be in Lodi Cemetery.
