Carolyn Sue Beeman, 72, passed away February 5, 2009. She was born May 1, 1936, in Minco, OK to Sidney and Addie Douglas. She was a member of Hillcrest United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and served as PTA president. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family and friends and reading her Bible. She is survived by 3 sons: Patrick Beeman and wife Shani of McKinney, TX, Bobby Beeman of Chesapeake, VA, Jeffery Beeman of Kingston, OK 2 grandsons: Dustin and Tyler Beeman of Virginia Beach, VA 1 granddaughter: Sydney Beeman of McKinney, TX 1 sister: LaRena Brown and husband Joe of Wichita, KS 2 brothers: Ronald Douglas and wife Merry of Chickasha, OK, W.S. Douglas and wife Joy of Irving, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Lester Douglas, Sidney Douglas, Wayne Douglas sister: Marie Handke. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 9, 2009, at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel with interment 1:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, Minco, OK. Contributions may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
