HERMAN BIERMAN, 76, PASSES; ILL 3 WEEKS

"Herman Bierman, 76, resident of Oregon City for the past 25 years, passed away about 8 o'clock last night at his home on Pleasant avenue. He had been ill three weeks. He was born in Germany and came to the United States when 12 years of age.

"Mr. Bierman was janitor of Eastham school for 14 years and was employed by the Logan Chevrolet company for several years.

"He is survived by his widow, Emma, and the following children: Rudolph of Oakland, Cal., Arnold of Oregon City and Raymond Bierman of Monterey, Cal., Elsie Edwards of Everett, Wash., Jeannette Caine of Portland, Leona Myers of Oregon City, Florence Eddins of Walla Walla, Wash., Alice Demange, Nell Wiley and Miss Evelyn Bierman, all of Oregon City.

"The body was taken to the Oregon City Funeral Home."
