NOLA WILLHITE SUCCUMBS
Nola Willhite, 85, of Broken Arrow, died Thursday in a local nursing home.
A native of Arkansas, she moved to Broken Arrow in 1920 and had lived in her home for over 45 years. Her husband, George Belve Willhite, proceeded her in death in 1970.
She is survived by six sons, James, Carl, Will, Homer and Elmer Willhite, all of Broken Arrow and Clarence Willhite of Tulsa; two daughters, Irene Cowett and Lula Ward, both of Tulsa; 24 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 10 a.m. in the Weer Church of God of Prophecy with the Rev. Gerald Byrd officiating. Burial will be in Floral Haven Cemetery under the direction of Kennard Funeral Home.
