Lydia was the wife of John Evans, Sr. The couple married before 1695 in Wales.
They couple had two children.
1. Infant daughter, died abt 1695
2. John Evans, Jr. 1700-1738, m. Jane Howell, 6 ch
In 1711 she was admitted to the Welsh Tract Baptist Church. John and Lydia signed the Confession of Faith on Feb. 4, 1716.
A grave marker has not been found but some burial records were destroyed and markers were washed away in a flood. Welsh Tract church records show that Lydia Evans was buried on Dec 25 1735.
UPDATE 2015, It is gratifying to see a photo of her marker and many others that were previously not found.
