Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Evan­gelical United Brethren church for Mrs. Ivan White, 62, who passed away Sunday morning at her home on Fifth street. A heart attack was the cause of death. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery, with Schreiner mortuary in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. White was born Bessie Charlotte Alsip, on Apr. 10, 1888 at Topeka, Kans. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Horatio Alsip. When her parents died, she made her home with an uncle until her marriage to Ivan White in March, 1906. They lived in Louisiana,Kansas, Nebraska and other points in Colorado before coming to Ber­thoud to make their home in 1945. Before coming here, Mrs. White was a member of the Methodist church. She had attended the United Brethren church while liv­ing in Berthoud.
She is survived by her husband Ivan, local police magistrate; three sons, Cecil of Denver, Lloyd of Port- land, Ore., and Theodore of Hills-boro, Ore.; three daughters, Mrs. Elva Leurs of Aurora, Mrs. Aleta Wood of Fairplay, and Mrs. Eula Mercer of Rapid City, S. D.; one brother, George Alsip of Borger, Tex., and one sister, Ada Cotton L of Wamego, Kans.; and 23 grand­children.
