A native of Pierce County, she was a daughter of the late David Calvin Proctor and Elizabeth Emma "Lizzie" Clark Proctor. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Newton Benjamin Rozier. She was a member of the Glenn Haven Baptist Church in Decatur and was a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters, Sarah E. Gentry of Powder Springs and Deborah Cox of Austell; three sisters, Betty Goodwin of Waynesville, Mamie Moody and Adeline Tindal, both of Brunswick; one brother, Ward Proctor of Hortense; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, from the chapel of Chambless Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Yawn officiating. Burial followed in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery near Waynesville.
Songs were "Rock of Ages, and "Farther Along."
