Corda M. McGehe Dies at Age 87

Mrs. Corda May McGehe, 87, of 919 S. Holyoke, died Wednesday in a local nursing home. She had been a resident of Wichita the past 35 years, coming here from Hutchinson, where she was born April 13, 1883.

She was a member of the Hillside Christian Church and Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include two brothers, Claude Blaine of Newman, Calif., and Lloyd Blaine of Oklahoma; three sisters, Mrs. Jesse Jenkins of 1704 Fairview; Mrs. Lila Martin of Lincoln, Neb., and Mrs. F. P. Thomas of Denver, Colo.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Gordon Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Edwin T. Cornelius, pastor of Hillside Christian, officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
