About 14 months ago Mr. Kahle was operated on for ulcer of the stomach, but he being of a nervous disposition suffered from insomnia. This evidently affected his mind. On last Saturday the community received the shocking news that he had committed suicide by hanging. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at one o'clock at the late home.
He is survived by his wife, six sons, one sister, four brothers, (one cannot be located), two daughters-in-law, and one grandchild. He attained the age of 51 years, 10 months, and 19 days.
The News joins with other friends of the bereaved family in extending condolence.
