(Excerpts from the Masonic Tribute of Respect.)
T. A. Casbeer was born in Arkansas on May 17, 1835 and moved with his father to Lamar County, Texas, when he was quite young, and to Lampasas County in 1859. He served four years in the Confederate Army in Capt. H. Ryan's Company, 17th regiment, Texas Infantry, Walker's Division. He was a good citizen , and for several years had been sorely afflicted, but so retiring was his disposition, those afflictions were not generally known till a short time before his death. We tender to his bereaved family our sincere and heartfelt sympathy.
