Graveside services were held Friday, May 4, 2007, at Brady Cemetery, for Richard Bishop, age 49, of Prentiss, who died at his residence on May 2. Rev. Tony Bagley officiated.
Pallbearers were: Cory Holden, Ken Hester, Shane Saulters, Al Holden, Shane Holden, and Brian Holden.
Richard was a native of Jefferson Davis County, the son of Walter R. Bishop and Margaret Ella Jones Bishop. He attended school at Prentiss Christian and the University of Southern Mississippi. He was a computer programmer.
Survivors include one brother, Ray Bishop of Mendenhall; five sisters, Pat Holden of Sontag, Betty Robbins of Carson, Myrtis Craig of Rossville, GA, Margaret Coble of Biloxi, Linda Hester of Prentiss; and numerous nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
