The gravestones are actually fieldstones from the area and were placed there by a grandson. He also erected the fieldstone for Martha's mother, Elizabeth Long Hemphill Addison who died in the home of Wm. A.J.Marshall and his wife Martha Ann Hemphill who lived near Everton in Boone
County. Elizabeth Addison's date of death was 21 February 1891.
