Anna Frances Mehner, my grandmother, the youngest child born to Gustav Hermann Mehner and Katherine "Kate" Marie Riefkohl Mehner was born on January 16, 1900 in Flatonia, Fayette County, Texas.
Anna's 5 older brothers were: Carl Ferdinand Mehner (1889-1961), William Richard Mehner (1891-1972); Herbert Paul Mehner (1893-1949), Otto Edward Mehner (1896-1918), & George Herman Mehner (1898-1948).
Anna Married Sidney Herbert Cook (1881-1966) at the age of 19 on 6 October 1921 in Dallas, Texas, & had three children:
(1) Sidney Herbert Cook;
(2) James Edward Cook; and
(3) Barbara Anna Cook.
Anna married a second time at the age of 75 to Henry H. Ramsey on August 10, 1975, but divorced 2 years later.
Anna died at the age of 84 on March 23, 1984, in Carthage, Texas.
