Dahle, Sylvester, Private, enlisted December 7, 1861 at Rimersburg, PA, age 20, a farmer from Clarion County, PA. Captured at Plymouth, NC on April 20, 1864 along with entire regiment and sent to Andersonville prison in Georgia.Died at Annapolis, Md., December 20, 1864 after release from captivity. His brother, Evans, age 16 at enlistment, was also captured and is buried at Newport News, VA, presumably after his release as well. Both Veterans of Company F, 103rd Pennsylvania Infantry.
