As in many families of the time, sisters from one family married brothers from another family. This was the case with Rachel McCowen and her sister Bersheba McCowen. Rachel married Alvin Myhand and Bersheba married John Myhand, brothers.

Bonnie Watson, Find A Grave volunteer, searched the cemetery in April 2013 and again in May 2013 but found no actual tombstone for Rachel Rebecca Myhand or her husband, Alvin Myhand. She did note though there are a lot of unmarked stones in the old cemetery as well as stacked rock burial "vaults". Being early deaths, it is possible the Myhands may be buried in one of the "vaults" but no initials could be found on the "vaults" confirming this theory.

Rebecca Rachel Myhand is an unconfirmed burial in this cemetery.
