Caroline Stringer is buried with her husband, Jefferson Stringer, in a small family cemetery near their old homeplace in Upshur Co., TX. Their graves were located for the first time in many years on Feb. 14, 2009 by a group of Stringer descendants. Both have stones, although not in the best condition. Caroline's stone has her husband's birth and death info above her's even though he died earlier than she and has his own stone nearby to her's. She's shown as "Caroline E. His wife". The top of her stone is loose and so we are fortunate to have seen it all together.
