John and Clara were the parents of five children: Myrtle Olive, Dale, Edna May, Anna Mable, and Ruth Genneth (who became an attorney in California). John, his wife, and all five children are pictured in the 1909 HUFFORD FAMILY HISTORY, on page 84, in the lower right corner.

John Hufford
Rossville, Indiana -- John Hufford, age 82, died suddenly at 8:30 last night at his home a mile north of here in Carroll County. He had operated a threshing ring for more than 6- years and belonged to the Church of the Brethren. Survivors are his wife, formerly Clara Campbell; two daughters, Mrs. Ernest Deiter of Rossville and Mrs. Ruth Clark of Coral Gables, Florida; and a sister, Mrs. Joe Leib of Rossville; and four brothers: Isaac Hufford of Carroll County; Sam, living in Illinois; Daniel in Iowa and Reuben in Chicago. Services at 2 p.m. on Saturday. L.E. Moore & Son Funeral Home.
