Albert was born in Chapman, ME, son of the late Alfred and Delphia (Jarvis) Gardiner, and came down to Connecticut from Maine in the 1940's. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II. Prior to his retirement he was a Foreman for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, Southington for 34 years.
Albert will be remembered by his family; his son Ronald Gardiner of Glastonbury; a granddaughter, Patricia Amber Gardiner of Las Vegas, NV; a grandson Gregory Ronald Gardiner and his wife Lisa of New Hampshire; two great granddaughters, Lauren and Anna Gardiner of New Hampshire. Besides his wife and parents, Albert was predeceased by his daughter, Amber Gardiner.
Albert's family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, January 13 at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Naubuc Avenue, Glastonbury from 11 a.m.-12 Noon, with a Memorial Service celebrating Albert's life at 12 Noon in the Funeral Home.
Interment will follow with Full Military Honors accorded in the family plot at Old Church Cemetery, Main Street, Glastonbury.
