He was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church and the Presque Isle Elks Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Elnora (Jameson) Gardiner, 1 son, Michael, 1 daughter, Susan, all of Presque Isle, 3 brothers, Tom and Henry of Presque Isle, Dennis of Connecticut, 1 sister, Mary Jane Soucia of Presque Isle, 4 half brothers, Alfred of Mapleton, Edward of Presque Isle, Ned of Brewer and Albert of Connecticut, 2 half sisters, Rita Graves of Indiana and Lillian Black of Presque Isle, 2 grandchildren, Amanda and Dustin Gardiner, both of Presque Isle. Spring burial Fairmount cemetery.
