Ralph Williams
(January 1, 1911 - September 9, 2010)

U.S. Veteran Ralph Williams son of the late Leona Belle Renfro Williams and Charles LaFayette Williams was born at Reynolds, Missouri, on January 1, 1911. He departed this life at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, on September 9, 2010, having attained the age of 99 years, eight months and eight days.

On April 18, 1932 in Centerville, Missouri, Ralph was united in marriage to Goldie Marie Kimes and to this loving union nine children were born. Goldie preceded him in death on January 4, 1993. Ralph later married Golda Burns on October 2, 1994; she preceded him in death on May 2, 2003. Ralph was a Veteran of the United States Army having served in WWII. Ralph was a long time member of the Lone Cedar United Baptist Church. He enjoyed making garden, four wheeling, camping and spending time with his church family. Ralph enjoyed having company, having fun and pulling your leg. Ralph's greatest joy was spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, his wives, two sons, Chilton Lester Williams and Verl Williams, five brothers, Brooks, Robert, Virgil, George and Other Williams, six sisters, Mae Rayfield, Nola Patterson, Dora Lee, Meta Brawley, Lillie Ferguson and Janie Jeremiah, two sons-in-law, Jim Brand and Model Blair and one step-son-in law, Eddie Williams.

Ralph is survived by three sons, Bill Williams and wife Mary of Cedar Hill, Lynn Williams and wife Nelma of Fredericktown, Ron Williams of Desoto, four daughters, Wanda Brand of Steelville, Earleen Blair of High Ridge, Norma Hicks and husband Ray of Desoto, Karen Hills and husband Delman of Ellington, 19 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, two step-daughters, Carol Sue Williams of Fredericktown, Judy Robertson and husband Don of Imperial, four step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren. Ralph will be deeply missed by a host of relatives and many friends who will mourn his passing.

Visitation: Friday, September 10th 4 to 8 P.M.

Funeral Services: Saturday, September 11th at 1 P.M. McSpadden Funeral Home, Ellington, Missouri
