Paintsville Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Jennie Gullett, 93, of Volga, who died Thursday, August 17, 2000 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Gullett was born July 3, 1907, at Manila, to the late Crosford and Bessie Blanton Blair. She was a member of Caudill Fork United Baptist Church. Surviving are four sons, Wendell Gullett of Volga, Paul Gullett of Hager Hill, James Willard Gullett of New Carlisle, Ohio, and Don Gullett of Clarksville, Tennessee; two daughters, Christine Blanton of Oil Springs and Reida Hope Robinson of Springfield, Ohio; one sister, Maude Burchett of Winchester; and 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday, August 20, at Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel, with Elders Eulas Adams, Phillip Caudill and Allen Fannin officiating. Burial followed in Blanton Branch Cemetery at Oil Springs.
