Volga resident Grace Estep, 83, died Friday, October 4, 1996 at her residence. Mrs. Estep was born September 13, 1913, in Johnson County, the daughter of the late Crosford and Bessie Blanton Blair. She was a member of Cold Springs United Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Woodford Estep; three sons, William C. "Bill" Estep of Flat Gap, Harold E. Estep of Meally and Dr. Carroll H. Estep of Dayton, Ohio; one daughter Phyllis Ruth Estep of Dayton; two sisters, Jennie Gullett of Volga and Maude Burchett of Winchester; and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were held Monday, October 7, at Paintsville, Funeral Home Chapel, with Elders Eulas Adams and Eual McKenzie. Burial was in Blanton Branch Cemetery at Oil Springs.
