Husband of Alma Draper (1904-1982) (daughter of Charlie D and Lillie Draper). They had a large family, living a majority of their life in the rural Milam County area of Hanover (near Milano).
August Hux served during WWI in the US ARMY INFANTRY as Pfc 1/C, in Co H, 52 INF, 7 DIV from May 27, 1919 to June 27, 1918.
August Hux died at the VA Hospital in Temple, Texas and removed for burial to Liberty Cemetery.
