Marriage - Clayson - Blue - In Rosemount First United Church on Saturday afternoon at five o'clock, the marriage took place of Euphemia MacGregor (Fay), daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Paton Blue, of Rosemount, to Mr. Howard Ronald Earle Clayson, of Shawinigan Falls, Que., son of Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Clayson, of Rosemount, the Rev. Ivor D. Williams officiating. Mr. C.E. Jennings played the wedding music and Miss Joanne Clayson, sister of the bridegroom, sang during the signing of the register. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. James Paton Blue, Jr., was in a gown of white embroidered Swiss organdy over taffeta, with a fitted bodice, fastened up the front with tiny buttons, having a stand-up collar and long sleeves ending in points over her hands, and a bouffant skirt. She wore a fingertip length veil of tulle illusion and carried a cascade bouquet of pale pink carnations and lily of the valley. Miss Margaret Blue, as maid of honor for her sister, was in a frock of blue brocaded taffeta, fashioned on princess lines with a bodice having a Peter Pan collar. She wore a bandeau to match her frock and carried a Colonial bouquet of pink roses. Miss Fay Aitken, as bridesmaid for her aunt, wore a frock of embroidered lavender organdy, with a bodice having a tiny collar and puffed sleeves and a very full skirt and a matching headdress. She carried a Colonia bouquet of multicolor sweetpeas. Mr. Thomas L. Craig acted as best man for Mr. Clayson and the ushers were Mr. Carl Henniger and Mr. William Blue, brother of the bride. Mrs. Blue, the bride's mother, was gowned in navy blue sheer over taffeta and wore a navy blue hat, pink accessories and a corsage of Joanna Hill roses.
