Sometime during 1837 or early 1838 he sold 7 acres to ____McVey and Philip Noon, leaving a balance of 78 acres on on which Peter Eckenrode(3), Peter Eckenrode Jr.(4) and his two unmarried and sister (Daniel 4, Henry 4, and Susan 4) were living. On June 30th 1838, Peter Eckenrode Jr. (4) sold the remaining 78 acre farm to Daniel Eckenrode (4) and Henry Eckenrode(4), and moved, setting up his own independent household elsewere in the Township.
