Lamar Strickland died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 1990, at Medical Center of Baton Rouge. He was 61, a native of Coolidge, Ga., and a resident of Baton Rouge. He was retired from the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of the Korean conflict.

Graveside services at Port Hudson National Cemetery, conducted by Brother Dan Wolfhanger.

Survived by wife, Jeanette Strickland, Baton Rouge; a daughter, Marline Medine, Baton Rouge; two sons, Preston Olsen, Gonzales, and Lynn Livingston, Malad City, Idaho; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
