Mrs. Beulah Glass Called To Final Reward
Young Wife and Mother Passes
Mrs. Beulah Glass, beloved young wife of Bryan Glass of the Guadalupe community, passed on to her finial reward Monday morning in a hospital in San Antonio, the end coming at 6:15 Mrs. Glass had been in ill health for months and her passing was not unexpected.
Surviving her besides her husband are a little daughter, Audrey, aged five years, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.D. DuBose of the Hamon section, three brothers, Geo., Clifton and Dill DuBose, two sisters, Misses Tennie Beile and Frances DuBose.
Mrs. Glass was only 25 years, 11 months and 26 days of age. She was born and reared in then Hamon section and belonged to one of the highly esteemed old families of that part of the county. She attended school in Gonzales, graduating from the local high school and for a time attended the State Teachers Vollege at San Marcos.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of the city, having made a profession of religion in her early girlhood.
Not only the love ones, but numerous friends at school mates as well as a large circle of kindred have been saddened by her breakdown in health that defied all treatment, and her young life.
The remains were brought to Gonzales Monday afternoon by Robertson and Seydler and convey to the residence of Mrs. E. T. Glass in the Guadalupe Community where funeral services were set for this afternoon at 4 o'clock with interment in the Guadalupe cemetery near there.
In their sorrow many friends with tender the bereaved family warm sympathy.
