My step mother started taking me to the cemetery when I was a teenager. All her family came from Patrick Co., Virginia, so they are buried up around Dry Pond or Holt Ridge. I've always loved history and found there was so much of it here in the cemetery.

I am assuming from the stone that this was an infant child. I am looking for a child born in 77 but i now she reached the age of 25, so this is not her. thank you so much for your quick response. I can only hope that the Misty I am looking for is still alive. She lived with us for several years and I always have considered her my daughter.

John Thomas Cook was my great granddaddy, my granddaddy was his son, Wallace Wade Cook and my mother was Lucy Belle Cook Pell. My dad was Henry Kermit Pell and you'll see his parents and grandparents. I just scanned all of the children of John Thomas Cook and his wife, Martha Cornelia Simmons.
