Helen M. Hall Anderson, 90, died April 13, 1994 at the Piatt County Nursing Home. Funeral services were held at Mackey-Wright Funeral Home with burial in Monticello cemetery.

She was born June 1, 1903 at Bement, d/o Daniel and Effie Fisher Hall. She married William Donald Anderson on March 8, 1929 at St Louis. He died May 21, 1977. Survivors include two daughters: Mary Elizabeth Gill, Marco Island FL; and Donna Jean Mosher, Monticello; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Anderson was a retired elementary school teacher. She graduated from MacMurray College, Jacksonville. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bement, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Monticello Woman's Club. She was a volunteer at Kirby Hospital, Monticello. Memorials may be made to the hospital or Piatt County Nursing Home.
