A funeral for Lula A. Pickrel, 92, of York will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church in York. The Rev. Martin Herrick will officiate.
Burial will be in York Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the church.
She was born Jan. 8, 1891, at Waco to Douglas and Harriett (Robertson) Bennett. She died Thursday (Sept. 8, 1983) in York.
On Dec. 20, 1911, she married Claude Pickrel Sr. at York.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church of York, the Royal Neighbors and Eastern Star.
Survivors include three sons, Claude Jr. and Russell, both of York, and Robert of Kingman, Kan.; one daughter, Mrs. Betty (B.C.) Kupper of Ogalala; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Nadine Beckord of York.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Raymond; two brothers and four sisters.
