Wilhemia Rosicky came to the U.S. in 1862 on the ship "Europa" with some of the rest of her family. Her future husband and family was also on the ship. Their marriage date and place is unknown at this time.

Mrs Wilhelmena Komrs, wife of Frank Komrs, one of the pion-settlers of Gilead precinct, died Thursday, July 25,1912 following a severe illness of about twenty-four hours, at the family residence near the old Leland Millsite, at the ripe age of 73 years.
Mrs Komrs, with her husband and family, settled near Gilead about twenty-eight years ago, undergoing all the hardships and privations of the early settlers, contributing their part toward the development of Thayer County.
She was kind neighbor, a devoted wife and loving mother, and many there be in her neighborhood who will remember her as one always ready and willing to aid in sickness or distress and would go day or night to minister to those in need of assistance.
She leaves to mourn her demise besides her aged husband, a sister, Mrs Michael, of Omaha; four sons, Henry, Mely, John and Jerry Komrs; two daughters, Rose and Mrs Lesty Huffman, besides many near and dear friends with whom she has associated for years.
The funeral was held from the residence Saturday, July 27, conducted by a pastor from Milligan, who delivered a very appropriate sermon, lauding the good works of the deceased and dwelling upon the immortalities of this life, and the remains were laid to rest in the beautiful little cemetery southeast of Gilead, the funeral cortege being composed of the relatives and a large concourse of neighbors and friends.
The husband and children of the deceased wish to tender their heartfelt thanks to the friends and neighbors who so kindly contributed to their needs in this hour of grief and sadness.
Information that has been found on the Rosicky family. Wilhelmina was born in Hompolec, Bohemia in 1839, she married Frank Komrs in 1865. Lived in wisconsin from 1865 to 1871. Moved to Chicago where husband was in grocery business with Wilhelmina's brother, John Rosicky. The great fire burned out the business. They then moved to Omaha, NE. Her parents were John and Josephine (Malat) Rosicky. John was a farmer in Boscobel, WI. They apparently moved to Omaha with their son as they are in the Omaha 1880 census. The 1880 census listed John Rosicky as 63 and laborer, Josephine Rosicky as 63 and housewife and daughter, Mary, age 27 and clerk in store. The "Europa" ship records in 1862 listed Rosicky's as Johann, age 35, Joseta, age 34, Wilhelmina, age 21 and Marie, age 9. ( I believe the ship records were incorrect as to their ages. Possibly due to language communication. I believe Johann and Joseta ages should have been 45 and 44.
Wilhelmina's brother, John Rosicky, also came to the United States. He was born 12-17-1845 in Hompolec, Bohemia. He died 4-2-1910 in Omaha, NE. There is a statue to him in the Bohemian National Cemetery in Omaha. The Omaha 1880 census list John Rosicky as an Editor, age 33, wife Mary, age 23, housekeeper.(also born in Bohemia), daughter's Rosa, age 4 and Emma, age 1.
