Mrs. Mary Alice Ritchie, widow of David E.Ritchie, died at 5:30 pm Tuesday in her home in 753 E.VanBuren street. She had been ill for several months.
Mrs. Ritchie was born in Decatur June 17, 1857 and was married to Mr. Ritchie in Harristown in 1875. She was a member of First Methodist church.
She leaves three children,Howard E. and Lester B. Ritchie of Decatur and Lee C.Ritchie of Portland, Ore. and five grandchildren.
The body was removed to the Dawson & Wikoff funeral home.
