MRS. THRESSA PLUMLEY COOPER, 61, of Hamlin, who died Sunday in a Huntington hospital after a long illness, will be buried Tuesday in the Plumley Cemetery at Hager, following services at 2 p.m. at the Koontz Funeral Home at Hamlin by the Rev. Garnett Adkins. Born Feb. 28, 1909 at Hager, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Maryetta Cummings Plumley. Survivors include the husband, Okey Cooper; three daughters, Mrs. Eldine Johnson of Midkiff, Mrs. Mary Rose Chaney of Ravenswood and Mrs. Jo Roberts of St. Albans; two sons, Okey Cooper Jr. of Edinboro, PA, and Robert Cooper of Laurel, MD; five half-sisters, Mrs. Casseleen Freeman of Sykesville, PA, Mrs. Nancy Hill of Warren, OH, Mrs. Lucille Skeens of Hamlin, and Mrs. Velora Elkins and Mrs. Grace James, both of West Hamlin; four half-brothers, Ronald Plumley of East Liverpool, OH, J.A. Plumley of Rock Creek, OH, D.D. Plumley of Huntington and John Plumley of Davin, 18 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Friends may call at the funeral home today.
