In 1900 she and her parents, her five siblings, brother-in-law Edgar Hunsicker, niece Mable Hunsicker, and a farm laborer, 28-year-old Samuel Chisholm, lived on a farm they owned, with a mortgage, in Grant Township, Osage County, KS.

In 1910 she and her husband lived in a place they were renting at 407 Monroe Street in Topeka, KS. He worked as a wagon driver for an ice company.

In 1920 she and Stephen and their three children lived at 215 West Eighth Street in Junction City, KS. He worked as a mechanic in a garage.

In 1930 she and her husband and their seven children lived in a place they were renting for $15 a month in Lyndon, KS. They did have a radio. He worked as a radio merchant.

In 1940 she and Stephen and their four youngest children lived in a house they were renting for $12 a month in Lyndon. He and James worked for the community sanitation department, he as a supervisor and James as a truck driver. She worked as a paper hanger for a decorator. Their incomes for weeks worked in 1939 were $1299/52, $100/10, and $32/4, respectively.

Ora M. Evans Dies at 78; Rites Monday.

Osage City.--Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at McElfresh and Son Mortuary here for Mrs. Ora M. EVANS, 78, Emporia, who died Friday in an Emporia hospital after a long illness.

Burial will be in Osage City Cemetery.

She was born Jan. 2, 1887, at Osage City and spent most of her life in Osage County before moving to Emporia 14 years ago.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Delores Lanzrath, of the home; Mrs. Rowena Ewing, Tiburon, Calif.; Mrs. Vivian Scheel, Carrollton, Mo.; and Mrs. Lura Romary, Englewood, Colo.; three sons, Jesses Evans, Santa Rosa, Calif., Gerald Evans, Willits, Calif., and Alan Evans, Walnut, Calif.; a half-brother, Dave Kibbe, California; 25 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
